Returns and Warranty
1) Goal of the return and warranty’s procedure
The goal of this procedure is to define the warranty’s condition that cover the sold products by Four Seasons.Italy.
The warranty on the products supplied by Four Seasons is recognized only for reasons of non-conformity, technical defects preventing normal use, and manufacturing defects in general.
2) Goal of the procedure
The warranty procedure applies on all the products supplied by Four Seasons Italy Srl, for exception of the climatisation’s compressors who follow a different procedure. The compressors return form can be downloaded by clicking here.
3) Operating mode
The warranty is valid for a period of 12 months from the date of sale of the product.
Warranty claims that do not meet the above deadline will not be recognized, items will be returned to the customer with the relative charge of shipping costs.
The guarantee applies to Four Seasons Srl products on which the mark is legible and traceability through invoices and transport documents is possible.
The warranty will not be recognized in case of clear reasons not due to technical or manufacturing defects such as:
- Incorrect use of the product;
- Damage caused by transport;
- Incorrect installation or caused by external agents;
- Lack of maintenance and unspecified applications contrary to precautions for use;
- In addition to all the reasons that cause the product to function incorrectly and therefore may damage the product itself;
The defects claimed by the client must be recognized by Four Seasons Srl, considering the parameters of the correct use of the product. And taking into account compliance with the correct terms of use.
The warranty will only be recognized after a technical inspection according to the information provided to perform this inspection.
Labour costs for the disassembly and assembly of the product, consumables and other expenses caused by the defect are not included in the warranty because our products, which are part of a system (cooling or air conditioning) must be professionally installed by the technician performing the work on the car. This also includes testing the system before consigning the vehicle to the end customer.
Once the customer considers that he has a defective product, he must:
- Fill out the “RETURN OF GOODS FORM” in more detail possible by clicking here.
- Email it to gestione.resi@4s-italy.com or fax it to +39 0585-793794.
- Wait for our confirmation and authorization to return the part which must be sent free of postage to the following address accompanied by the return slip and the form of return of goods: at FOUR SEASONS ITALY Srl – Via Aurelia Sud, Km 374,240 Loc. Porta – 54038 Montignoso (MS) – ITALY.
If the Return of goods form is not correctly filled out, the return of the piece won’t be authorized.
The returned products must be packaged individually and carefully in order to avoid any damage that could prevent the verification of the defect.
Once the part is found to be non-compliant, a thorough technical evaluation will be carried out and a response will be provided as to whether or not the product is considered under warranty. In case of refusal, the reasons will be detailed in order to provide an adequate explanation to the customer.
The recognition of the guarantee will take place either by the replacement of the part or by the refund of the latter if it is not available, excluding the payment of any compensation.
If the costumer orders a product and realizes within 15 working days that they made a mistake, they can return it and they will be refunded deducting from the purchase value the amount of 15 euros or 25% in the case of air conditioning compressors.
In the event that the costumer receives a damaged product and has insurance coverage, they must notify us within 24 hours of receiving the item by sending the “INSURANCE FORM” downloadable by clicking here or by fax at 0585-793794. The part will be replaced free of charge, while the damaged part must be returned to us for inspection.
Replaced or refunded parts under warranty will become property of Four Seasons.
In the event of warranty refusal, the product will be discarded after 15 days unless otherwised idicated by the costumer. If a return of the refused product is requested, the transport costs will be charged on the costumer.
